I pledge allegiance to the flag,
of the United States of America,
and to the Republic for which it stands,
One Nation, Under God, Indivisible, with
Liberty and Justice for All!
The United States began using the Pledge of Allegiance in public schools on October 12, 1892.
I believe in the One and Only God of this Universe.
I believe in and support the United States of America, and I believe it is a model for all Nations wanting to do What is Right and only what is Right and wanting to do What is Just and only what is Just, for All of its Citizens to the best of its ‘Citizens Combined Abilities’.
I consider myself a Humanitarian and as such desire to promote human welfare and dignity.
I believe what is best for the United States and the majority of All of its Citizens is the best ‘Right and Just Answer’ to each and every topic that our country is challenged to decide for our Nation; by governing in that manner all of our citizens will realize that their rights and their voices are being heard and respected all of the time.
I am an America first and last. I am not a Republican nor a Democrat. All issues and topics must be considered on an individual basis. Both political parties provide platforms of their beliefs that are very difficult to accept in total; and neither party has a platform that is totally unacceptable. Neither party has a ‘one size fits all solution’ that will, or even should, fit all of any one individuals beliefs.
Our politicians must begin to accept responsibility for their elected positions and perform their duties fairly and equitably for all of the citizens that they now have the responsibility to represent. Once elected the campaign is over and each of you have an obligation to represent each and every one of the citizens you have been empowered to represent to the best and fairest, that is within your ability. You are no longer just representing yourself. You are now trying to represent the best interest of thousands of citizens, that are counting on you to help find what is the best answer for everyone. No one should ever go unrepresented in the United States because of a misguided and misplaced loyalty to a political party. A political party is a political party and definitely not worthy of being considered to come before your commitment to what is best for the United States and your commitment to fairly represent all of your fellow citizens. The citizens you represent need to inform you of their thoughts and feelings on the issues at hand and you need to search your heart and soul to find for them what is the best and right answer for all and then vote accordingly.
Politicians, please perform your duties in a manner that maintains respect for all of the citizens and their rights as you represent them. We all live in this ‘One United Nation’, please represent all of us all of the time, and please do nothing to break or abuse the laws of our nation and diminish the ‘Public’s Trust in You’.
