The first religion known to ‘Believe in one God’ existed before Judaism, Christianity, and Islam. It was named Zoroastrianism. It was the official religion of a large part the Persian Empire until it was conquered by the Muslim Arabs during the Muslim conquest of Iran, marking the beginning of the decline of Zoroastrianism which is considered to be arguably the oldest monotheistic (belief in One and Only One God) faith in the world. Zoroastrianism existed from the 6th century BCE (600 B.C.) until the 7th Century CE (700 A.D.)
Zoroastrianism is thought to have influenced Judaism, Christianity, and Islam, with Zoroastrianism concepts such as the idea of a Single God, Satan, Heaven, Hell, and a Day of Judgement with those values first being introduced to the Jewish Community of Babylonia.
In terms easily understood The Hebrew Religion evolved into Worshiping the One and Only God between the 9th and 6th centuries B.C. The Biblical Moses (God’s Prophet) lived during the 13th century and it was he that led the Hebrews out of Egypt during 13th century B.C. freeing them from slavery in Egypt and in search of the ‘Promise Land’. The ‘Promise Land’ was ultimately located in Canaan, which is between the mediterranean Sea and the Jordan River, corresponding to the modern nation of Israel. Here the Hebrew religion (with Faith in the One and Only God of This Universe) flourished until the conquest by the Romans which began about 63 B.C. and resulted in Herod the Great being appointed the King of the Jews by the Roman Senate during the Life and Times of Jesus. Jesus was born a Jew, lived as a Jew, and died as a Jew. He prophesized the coming of God’s Kingdom, a Kingdom of Love and Peace. He criticized those of his religion that succumbed to the temptations of greed and power. He predicted his own death and viewed it as a sacrifice that was being made. He understood that it would bring more people to God through his words and the viewing and hearing of his sacrifice.
There existed a Jewish sect within the Jewish Faith that believed Jesus was the son of God and God’s Prophet. But they were a minority group of the Jewish faith. During the life of Jesus, the mainstream of the Jewish Faith did not believe in, worship, or refer to Jesus as God or even as a prophet. Most of the Jewish Faith continued to worship in the traditional Jewish fashion until about 33 A.D. when the Jewish sect that believed that Jesus was the son of God and God’s Prophet separated from the traditional Jewish Faith and established the first Christian Church which was founded those 33 years after the death of Jesus. The first members of the Christian Church were all Jewish, and the church still did not formally refer to Jesus as God.
In 312 A.D. the Roman Emperor Constantine became a Christian although he was not baptized until 337 A.D. The Emperor Constanine convened the First Council of Nicaea in 325 A.D. with its primary purpose being to settle the issue of the divine nature of God the Son (Jesus) and His relationship to God the Father. It was during the First Council of Nicaea that the concept of the Trinity was officially adopted and made church doctrine. The Emperor had succeeded in accomplishing what was his primary purpose of having Jesus declared as Divine and thereby making himself and his rule more powerful by becoming more closely aligned with the Christian Religion. However, Jesus was not declared equal to God until after Constatine died in 337 A.D, at which time Theodosius the First became emperor, he was known to be a Champion of Christian Orthodoxy and an Adversary of Paganism and it was he that convened the First Council of Constantinople in 381 A.D. during which the Son of God (Jesus) was decided to be God’s Equal and was therefore God. A political decision of Men not a Divine One from God.
Here in lies the truth: It was the Emperors of Rome (Human Men) and Bishops of the Church (Human Men) who declared that Jesus was God and thereby tried to make Jesus God.
How can mere men believe that they can change God’s creation from a Human Jesus into a God. It was Human Men that tried to make themselves important by making Jesus equal to his creator the One and Only God of this Universe. It was Men of the government and Men of the church of those times, that can be used in all future times, as the ‘epitome of stupidity in humans’ for twisting God’s words in order to achieve their goals. Only God gives life to his creations and at least until these times he has never declared even one of them to be His Equal or a God.
There is Only one God of this Universe. God recognizes All Christian Churches that believe in the ‘One and Only God’ because they ask their Faithful to live God’s Core Values in their daily lives, and God asks the Christian Churches of the 21st Century to correct their Error of referring to Jesus as God.
Abraham was born around 2166 B.C. and died around 1991 B.C. Abraham was the first of God’s Prophets to reject Idolatry (the worship of Idols) and Champion the belief in One God. Other Prophets Followed: Moses, David, Solomon, Jesus and Muhammad born 570 A.D. and died 632 A.D. Contact between Jews, Christians and Arabs was common in the times of Muhammad, particularly during the 7th Century. Muhammad was born in Mecca where at one time the dominant religion had been monotheistic but by Muhammad’s time the dominant religion had shifted to polytheism and idol worship.
Muhammad became one of God’s prophets when God’s Archangel Gabriel was sent to him in a vision and began delivering God’s revelations to him and so began the Islamic Religion in 610 A.D. when Muhammad was 40years old. With the revelations of Gabriel, began Muhammad’s teachings which were in direct conflict to the prevalent idolatrous beliefs in Mecca, in what is now known as Saudi Arabia.
Muhammad’s Divine Revelations from Gabriel were later compiled into the Quran. These revelations introduced the concept of One God ‘Allah’, to the Arabian Nations, and became the foundation of the Islamic Religion in 610 A.D. “Islam” when translated means “Submission to the will of God, the One and Only God”. It (the Quran) calls for the preparation for the imminent last judgement, and charity for the poor and needy.
At the time of Muhammad’s life, the cultural development of mankind in the middle east was in a prolonged state of fluctuation. The ever-growing governmental presence of the Byzantine Empire, the Persian Empire, and the recently Unified Arabian Forces had to be dealt with, as well as the multiple religious Faiths of the Hebrew Religion, the relatively new Christian Religion, the new Islamic Religion, and a strong lingering group of Nations clinging to Idolatry.
As God’s newest Prophet with the Divine Misson of bringing the One and Only God to the Arabian Peninsula and into the Arabian Culture, Muhammad had an almost unimaginable task in front of him with only his Faith and His God as his Allies. Muhammad did not believe that military conquest was the only means of spreading the Islamic Faith. He also often used peaceful means like trade, economics, and cultural interactions; however, his Divine Misson was from his God, so when Military action was the only option left on the table, he took it and succeeded at it. Muhammad died in 632 A.D. by the time of his death Muhammad had managed between 610 A.D. and 632 A.D, to Unite the Arabian Peninsula while laying the foundation for realizing fulfillment of his God given Task of bringing Faith in ‘God the Only God’ to the Arabian Culture.
Islam Teaches belief in Allah (that when translated into English is the word ‘God’) as the One True God and Sustainer of the Universe. Furthermore, Islam teaches its followers ‘core values’ centered on the ‘Oneness of Allah’ (that when translated into English is the phrase the ‘Oneness of God’), core values that include living a life of honesty, kindness, compassion, justice, self-discipline, patience, forgiveness, respect for parents, cleanliness, charity, and other attributes of God’s ‘core values’ that are presented as the way God wants his children to live their lives with Each Other and With God on this earth.
It is not important if you are a Jew, a Christian, or an Islamist you all recognize those words because God (when translated into Arabic is ‘Allah’, when translated into Hebrew is ‘Yahweh’) put them into your minds, your hearts and your souls at the very moment he gave all of you your lives in this Universe. We are ‘One’, we are ‘God’s Creations’, and therefore we are ‘God’s Children’!
Ignore those who teach that “Jesus is God” and those that teach that “Hate, Murder, and Terrorism” are a part of “God’s Core Values that he wants us to live by”. Let us Live what and only what God Teaches: “God’s Actual Core Values”. Let us work together and bring the “One and Only God of this Universe” into this the 21st Century on the Planet Earth.
Please remember and live the Good, the Honest and the True Values of your God, that you have learned you should strive to live by from your churches over these many years. Those values were and still are Gods design for your lives of Peace and Love, and Compassion that he wants you to live on this Earth.
It will be very difficult to give up following the errors that creeped into God’s Teachings from your Churches your Governments, and the Once Powerful Individuals of this world as they intervened, twisted, and corrupted God’s Words of Love Peace and Compassion in order to gain wealth, power, and fame solely for themselves. United we can and we will overcome those false teachings!
May God Always Be with Each One of Us and May We All Grow in His Oneness!
Written as God told me to Write it and Give it to You,
Luz, God’s Servant
Thank You God, Amen!
