In Today’s World with a population of 8.2 billion people nothing is more critical than ‘Honest and Reliable News Reporting’. The United States of America needs to create an independent ‘News Reporting Governing Agency’ which must be held accountable to the Highest of Ethical Standards, free from Governmental influence, Political Party influence, Religious Organization influence, from Advertising Income influence, and free from Foreign Government Propaganda influence. The news needs to be as honest, complete, and as accurate as is possible. Without complete, honest and unbiased information, the people of our nation, or of any nation, cannot make reliable decisions for themselves about the issues at hand; therefore they are being manipulated like puppets by our biased news agencies that are motivated by Our own government, Advertising money, Political organizations, Religious Organizations, and propaganda submitted as news by Foreign Governments and Terrorist Organizations without proper verification before being presented as being factual and complete. Incomplete information can be very misleading (for example reporting the number of women and children killed without reporting the number of solders and/or men killed in the same incident in a war zone). Who was wrong the military force that dropped the bombs on their enemies or their enemies that were intentionally using the innocent to shield their military objectives?
Give our citizens a chance to make intelligent decisions by making sure that they are being provided with complete and honest information in the News Reporting that they are being exposed to, in place of being manipulated into making bad decisions by Biased News Reporting. The operations of the News Reporting Governing Agency and its oversite Committee must be transparent to the public and held accountable by the public. Failure to maintain the public’s trust should be considered as treason and the guilty parties punished accordingly.
